Pros

Monthly business meetings with everyone from the company gives business perspective, which is nice to see what your impact is in that regard. Lots of different teams so there is more focus on tasks. Most people are friendly. Work events and bonding opportunities outside of business hours.

Cons

I wanted to love this company, and there were so many amazing and lovely people there, but there was also so much unprofessionalism behind the scenes. Managers who vape in the office space and at their desks, which is distracting. managers who leave before 5:00 and there is little to no support for the rest of the team after those hours, people who show up over an hour late to work with no consequences, or take pto and sick days arbitrarily and for extended periods of time- leaving you stranded and with no one to confide in on projects. No in person communication, making it difficult to build relationships with immediate team members. Literal scolding when human mistakes are made. Where is the mentorship? Constant blame on those at the lower levels when some people at the top need to take accountability for lack of leadership that ultimately funnels down and impacts the energy in the room. Some leaders have clear biases and it is disappointing especially if you truly want to learn or move up- despite what they say about company growth. Just know that on some teams you will be under appreciated and misunderstood if you are not a "culture fit" even when you put your best foot forward.

Thank you for highlighting the positives of your experience, including our monthly Town Hall meetings, cross-functional team collaborations, and fun events that we use as an opportunity to let our teams bond or have a fun moment outside of the day-to-day work needs. It is important to us that employees feel connected and we are glad those stood out. We also are also happy to provide a flexible work environment for our team, giving leeway to start/end times for their day and expect that our managers work with their employees to help with work/life balance. That said, professionalism and accountability are core expectations at Dreamwear and we hold all employees (including managers) to the same standards. Company growth and mentorship are also priorities to us. We put a lot of focus on this through a structured onboarding experience with regular check-ins, performance reviews 2x/year, and leadership development opportunities across all levels of management. HR also encourages any concerns to be brought forward in real time, so we can listen and make a plan to ensure they feel supported. We appreciate your contributions during your time with us and wish you success in your next role.

Pros

Generous PTO, Lots of early dismissals on friday. Kind, hardworking people. Ive seen so much disrespect and badly functioning companies throughout industry. This place deserves ALLL the praise. There are standards and rules and the owners treat everyone with respect and you can clearly see this reflected throughout the company. Everyone is respectful of each other. Theres no micromanaging, i get to do what im good at and make my own decisions . It doesn't take long to get noticed and rewarded if you put the work in and do a great job with a smile on your face

Cons

Sometimes the workload can be a lot, even as someone with years of experience the workload can feel impossible to wrap my arms around. Its difficult to leave the office for a doctors appointment for example. But im just glad I am being respected and supported. I feel like the pay could be a little better for the effort thats being put in
