Cons
Agency excels in their core competency. However, the agency is not properly set-up for creative services beyond simple production. Creative briefs are never provided to creative team from account leads only media briefs. It is expected that the creative team deliver an optimal product from a media brief. All of the core elements in a creative brief then need to be hunted down and gathered in exhaustion by production team. By the time the team believes they have captures all of the core information to execute, the information somehow changes however, you won't be informed, and quickly thrown under the bus. Account leads never take responsibility for not providing accurate and briefing information. It was figured out that if the account team/channel actually wrote a brief, they would be held accountable for the information provided - that's most likely the reason you'll never see one. The creative team is always the fall guy when metrics are down and the client unhappy. Furthermore, you will be yelled at and belittled, manipulated into thinking that you are the problem and that the account is suffering because are inept. If you are identified as someone who goes against 'their way', you will carry a scarlet letter on your forehead. If you do carry that letter, you are most likely a woman of color.
