There is instrumental support for Helpline / SATU (Sexual Assault Treatment Unit) volunteers in that you receive group supervision every fortnight so that you can continue to deliver an excellent service to callers / SATU attendees / DRCC clients / DRCC supporters / members of the public etc. If Group Supervision isn’t enough, you can also access 1:1 Supervision as well. The benefit of Group Supervision is that fellow volunteers offer their words of wisdom as well as the trainers. The volunteer placement lasts two years and you receive either a brooch or necklace with the DRCC Celtic spiral (featured on their logo) as a thank you. A positive experience from start to finish and very highly recommended!
