Pros
- I started out as an intern and after 6 months was given a considerable more amount of responsibility. It is rare for an employer to reward hardworking interns by giving them more important work. -I was regularly asked what my suggestions were for projects and was given the opportunity to showcase my creativity. - I was asked what type of tasks I typically enjoy most so that I could focus on work that I particularly like. -Fun but professional workplace. All employees had a good sense of humor even when there was a ton of work to do. Leadership was also very flexible if I had conflicting commitments and notified them in advance. -By far the biggest pro is the mentorship that both of the cofounders offer. They genuinely cared about what my career goals were. They offered me sound advice and helped me network.
Cons
- Pay for interns is minimal, just a travel stipend, but this is the reality of working at a new company.
