Pros
*Excellent corporate culture *Headquarters (HQ) highly values their team members and pours unlimited resources into their employees *HQ truly cares about the wellbeing of humanity and positive social change
Cons
*While HQ has a utopian feel to it, these values don't always trickle down to the franchise owners. Dutch Bros has recently changed their franchise requirements to solve this problem, but my experience is that the "old school" owners only care about money and are very resistant to new changes. The owner of my franchise promoted unqualified people based on strange criteria...usually seniority, which resulted in a very authoritarian-style of management. I found that the employees with decent leaderships skills didn't usually stick around this franchise and transferred to other stands with more democratic processes. *Very few opportunities for career advancement
