Pros

Fully remote work and the co-workers are great. There is a sense of family among co-workers. There is a great opportunity for professional learning if you want it.

Cons

I worked here for 3 years so I have seen and known a lot about the company. Management has good plans for staff but is very slow to decide and enact e.g. leave incentives have not been implemented despite having the company registered as a Philippine corporation since 2019. This is because most of the time management is clueless, myopic and inadequate (almost to the point where they don't know what it is doing). Management is also too hands-off which is good but most of the time I think it doesn't know anything and lack proper project management skills and relies heavily on its assistant who does almost everything for it. There are also no clear or defined business plans or goals. The employees are almost voiceless due to a very bureaucratic organisational structure where only 1 person authorises and decides for everything - and I mean everything, even for a single centavo. Everything needs to be under the watchful eye of the one. There is poor communication between management and staff primarily due to management's unavailability and very old-fashioned Philippine style of running a business which results in most of the time to a bottleneck in the chain of command. As a result, there is also a lack of management mentoring. Moreover, too much staff time accountability where every minute counts and staff with more billable time are valued and those with less are considered trash, kills creativity and the capacity/room for growth and learning. Staff is most of the time at the mercy of management. The pay is average and the 13th-month pay and leaves incentives are imputed into the gross pay.
