Fijne collega's en een uitdagende, gevarieerde job. Een goede plek om snel bij te leren in een dynamische omgeving.

Gemotiveerd gestart, maar ontslagen zonder waarschuwing of negatieve evaluatie, ondanks inzet, positieve houding en collegiale waardering. De organisatie hanteert een duidelijke hire and fire-mentaliteit, met een grote focus op billability (80%, ook voor junior of medior profielen) en weinig ruimte voor persoonlijke groei of begeleiding. Er was een opvallende onbalans tussen teams: terwijl sommige medewerkers met hun vingers zaten te draaien door gebrek aan werk, stonden anderen onder constante druk. In plaats van hier strategisch mee om te gaan, werd gekozen voor ontslag van wie volgens de cijfers niet voldoende opbracht. Uiteindelijk weegt niet de kwaliteit van je werk door, maar vooral de cijfers en het bedrag dat je opbrengt.

After a lenghty career in education, I was looking for something new. Working for the world's largest Odoo partner seemed like a good idea, so I applied for the job of finance consultant, since I have some background there. However, based on my profile, the recruiter, Michelle, asked me whether wouldn't rather apply for the eCommerce consultant. I did not see that job listing, but when reading through it, it seemed like a match made in heaven. Right then and there, we switched our online application for 'Finance consultant' to 'eCommerce consultant'. After this first meeting, a meeting with the eCommerce project managers followed and a meeting with the HR director.

During the application process, a lot of emphasis was laid on the 'family culture' and the many, many social activities. Since I started working there, I've seen the amount of activities decline as the company is growing. The culture is still the same, but now with a lot more colleagues working elsewhere.
