Pros
um.....money and vacations I suppose
Cons
Everything. They are vague about your job. Probably because they say "hey, we're looking for an office admin!" and in the interview they charm you into that "no no, you aren't in sales. Don't worry." Then you get to orientation and they talk about Kirby. KAY, cool, kirby is a good vacuum. But I applied for an office administrator position? But holy cow, look at all that money. So you go to training, you slowly realize you're going to be going door to door selling vacuums under the guise of "free carpet cleaning!" I noped right out of there. It's dishonest, but more importantly, they are destroying lives. I quit my job because this seemed like a wonderful opportunity, and I was brainwashed into thinking I could make tons of cash and go on vacations and do all this crazy awesome stuff and I realize it's freakin hard to come up with 60 demos a month. You don't get that 2200 base salary. Some weeks you make $25, some weeks you make $700. Those higher tiers are RARE. It's cold calling, except awkward and face to face, door to door.
