Pros
They pay for lunch for everyone in the office, every day. They offer good PTO. Overall a pleasant environment but this is more due to coworkers than anything.
Cons
Family owned company which results in nepotism. The free lunch is more to keep people tied to their desks so they can't feel free to take a lunch. Regardless of how much a person works or their productivity, it appears that if someone has the ear of management and doesn't like someone, their job is in jeopardy. They do not hold entire teams to the same standard. They have poor treatment of employees who telework. The way they treated a recent employee damaged morale and everyone feels insecure in their jobs now. Very troubling for those of us left. Senior manager in place who doesn't truly understand the role or work of certain employees, so the manager relies too heavily on certain employees to keep him informed and allowing them to affect his judgment. Old school cronyism. Poor work/life balance. Low pay which they are trying to fix. They seem to cut people loose for no reason which makes people very nervous. No one feels safe or secure anymore. A lot of people are looking for employment elsewhere.
