Pros
Made good friends and my peers were always great to work with. They hired smart people. Working across teams was always easy in and out of the engineering organization They paid well, while the money lasted.
Cons
Hiring process didn't always seem fair or reflect who I thought would be the best fit. A lot of talk about is this person cool enough to be on the team. Which when you are a geeky tech person you start to think well if they aren't cool enough I guess I'm not either. No transparency, fired executive leadership members multiple times with no reasoning except for "reorg" but they did that 3 times in 3 months which to me felt more like a scramble and hoping money doesn't run out. No direction, people tried but the highest level couldn't decide what they wanted and the product suffered. They have rewritten the same app 3 times now, it is a dumpster fire.
