Pros

Lots of parking, benefits are free if you don't include any family in coverage

Cons

Extremely low salaries, health benefit costs for a family are extremely expensive, family business (and you aren't part of the family), owner does not follow business sector regulations or labor laws, management treats employees differently based on family affiliation, owner is bipolar and creates an extremely hostile environment, no attention paid to COVID risks, everyone not in the family is expected to be in the office every day.

Pros

Everyone has an office. Fully paid benefits for the employee only, but taken away if you include your family.

Cons

Overall, this is a company that should be avoided for employment or even conducting business. Only apply if you are desperate for work, but CEO will know this and provide very low pay. There is a reason why the company has not seen growth in this business and in its staff. There is nothing that can be taken from this company that will help you excel or provide growth. Management is against all change and opinions of processes and procedures from experience personnel coming in. Penny pinchers for R&D projects and engineers get disciplined for all purchases. Can’t grow an R&D Medical Device business if you constantly lack funds or don’t want to support the cost of innovation. There is paranoia of competition constantly trying to hack into the small 10-person company. Low pay for all employee's, only 11days of PTO was 6 days, including family on benefits is a negative and sky rockets from free (employee only) to +$1200 for a family, constant over the shoulder micro-managing, view and appeal of your work area means more to management and owner then the quality or work to be developed, owner reads employee emails and screen shots of computer screens at random, this is a 8 to 5 company and if you leave early for a few minutes or take a long lunch management will discipline the employee and placed on yearly reviews regardless of your completed work even during COVID, does not follow covid protocols for employee health. No clear focus on business goals or projects. CEO/Owner creates a hostile work environment, constant yelling and complaining of funds and regulatory and quality requirements. Accepts timelines and deliverables one day then he is completely negative and opposite on his views and approvals the next day. Lack of understanding of a business and project progression, unwilling to drive a quality proven Medical Device and would rather drive to his beliefs, same owner who is an Anti-Vaxxer but sells to patients with no or poor immune system. Drives the company with inexperienced people such as family who is still in college. Bad mouthing nurses as inexperienced in their field. God complex of the Infusion Industry as the innovated leader even though very little design engineering has come out of the company. Believes who knows all about the marketing, sells, and design engineering for medical device. I do not recommend this company to any past colleagues and in the Sacramento Area.
