Pros

Company pays employees' portion of insurance.

Cons

Company touts that they have working software solutions for various sectors This is not the case. Most of the products are only developed when a customer shows interest. At that point, company makes an effort to "mock up" a demo. Took a HUGE cut in pay to work from home. The Owner, and several of the employees (mostly family members) are allowed to work from home without prior notice. This does not go for employees that are not family members. No training involved. Personnel that were supposed to train where either traveling on other training jobs or visiting with clients. Programming team is in India delaying timely turn around for fixes submitted. Owner determines which fixes the programming team will address. Bottom line, customer that protests the most is the one that gets programming attention. If your client is not the one that is raising the most ruckus, then the fixes that you submitted will not be addressed, eventually leaving you with an angry customer and no ability to provide proper customer service. Demos to potential clients are almost always botched by Owner. Errors pop up when running through demos which of course leaves a bad taste for any potential client. End result; no new clients, just expansions of existing client's projects. Feedback from customers is not positive. Many have not paid because the product that was promised has not been delivered. This puts more pressure on staff without the option of delivering promised products to their clients unless owner decides that customer's complaint(s) are Advancement opportunities are not available; company does not know the direction they are going in but rather "wings" it. Current personnel have NO actual experience in the energy business, only software. Energy industry nomenclature is commonly misused which is unacceptable. Company is run like a dictatorship. Personnel doesn't have the capability to even order a mouse without Owner's approval.
