Pros

A lot of intelligent, kind people in the company. Remote work.

Cons

EOS senior leadership preaches and preaches and preaches their values, but they don't live them. Senior leadership is truly out of their depth. What they lack in skill, expertise, and experience they make up for in hubris and overconfidence. There is a kindergarten culture at EOS. Senior leadership consistently talks down to, talks at, and lectures employees (including other leadership). Pay and benefits are mediocre. Consistent and repeated layoffs for the past year.

We understand that this season of change has been difficult for our team members and the company as a whole. However, we categorically disagree with your assessment of the EOSW Leadership Team. You may not realize that there are many stakeholders who contribute to critical and strategic decisions that impact the organization. Recently, those decisions included scaling back our teams and getting "Back to Basics" to achieve the right structure for our company's long-term viability and vision. As a current team member, we encourage you to enter the danger and live the Help First and Do the Right Thing core values by openly and honestly expressing your concerns to EOSW leadership rather than posting your misguided perceptions in an anonymous forum. We have many opportunities for dialogue and would appreciate your constructive feedback rather than harsh judgment based on your own limitations of information and understanding.

Pros

Great coworkers and benefits Remote work

Cons

Zero strategic planning Leadership team completely disconnected from “boots on the ground” employees Feels a bit like an MLM/cult In my short time with EOS they: -failed to provide the proper tech to perform my job in time for my start date -moved me around from manager to manager multiple times -decided to completely do away with my role and put me in a different one -communicated a hiring freeze but continued to hire -recognized major revenue issues but continued to provide quarterly bonuses -removed critical technology with zero communication or backup plan -cut most company credit cards with zero communication or strategic plan -communicated a transition to Microsoft suite for “critical security and cost reasons” then after getting Implementer pushback decided to pull the plug only weeks away from launch (never got Implementer input on the transition) -announced a business restructure providing minimal information, leaving us to speculate for many weeks -laid off a third of their workforce claiming we no longer had seats in the new structure -told remaining employees they may have to backfill some of the seats they laid off and claimed there were GWC issues -rehired one select individual who was laid off -continued hiring during and after layoffs

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. EOS® Worldwide is committed to creating a strong culture rooted in our core values. While we understand that former employees will have a different perspective, companies sometimes need to make difficult decisions designed to ensure long-term business continuity. The Leadership Team believes these decisions, while painful, address the future needs and viability of EOS Worldwide. EOSW has been in existence since 2008 and is well-positioned to meet our goals and 10-Year Target™.
