Pros

Good products used by very large companies, solid references, high value for customers. Great engineers, customer-focused sales reps, responsive tech-support and professional colleagues in a sister-company Rittal. Most of rep-level people working there are heroes delivering a great customer experience and good teammates regardless of a a very harsh environment.

Cons

The company is privately owned and the US branch gets low level of attention from the headquarter. Outdated approach to making business in the US and lack of development. Could be recognized as a"Stone Age" of software industry. Workflow systems are obsolete and bureaucratic - CRM, expense management, ERP, etc. The worst is the management, it's approach and attitude toward employees. A lot of promises to new hires, but in reality it's all about favoritism. Probably even nepotism. If you're in an "inner circle" you'll get low quotas, fast promotion, and recognition from top executives. If you're just a great professional, you'll have to rely on your skills and customers only. Regardless of how customers love you, you'll get more and more pressure to support the success of favorites you're reporting to. Very tough place to work and, as a result, high turnover rate.

Cons

Being at the front means that you often have to wield a machete which is hard work when you are making your way through the jungle in search of the next level of technology. Finding the right people for that kind of effort is hard sometimes and in some positions we are understaffed. These are the pains of fast growth. You might need to wear a couple of hats that perhaps were not in your job description, but we welcome people who are ready to engage to the team when they get here. Team mates help out. Heck, how else do you keep it fun and continue to learn?
