Pros
I was on an intern on the client experience team for almost a year. The CEO and my direct supervisor were really involved and sought to ensure that you are developing whatever skills you are looking to develop. For me that included using Excel and client interactions. It could also mean learning more about software programming, finance, or marketing. They are very flexible with your schedule and when you need to change it or working from home. As an intern they encouraged me to travel to client sites both in and outside of Georgia. They also give responsibility to interns and make you feel like part of the team and not just an intern.
Cons
The team is very small and there is a lot of work to be done. This can sometimes be overwhelming and/or requires some projects to be delayed. The amount of traveling that the team does can make it hard to schedule time to complete projects and/or creates some turbulence in communication.
