Compensation- EVO is delusional in they think they pay market or above. They are taking the “If you repeat a lie enough times, people will believe it” approach. They can say it until they are blue in the face. The Fact remains a majority of people are underpaid.
Top Heavy- Like I said a majority but not all. Upper management and the executives are overpaid. No one gets stock options and we have to wait 5 years to be fully vested in the already stingy 401k.
Benefits- worse than the pay. If you’re healthy it’s better to just pay cash for your one or two doctors’ visits, than taking EVO’s sub-par, expensive joke of health insurance.
Direct Management- Some of the worst managers I have ever seen are in place at EVO. When I think of a manager I think of a total package. The people skills of some EVO managers is nonexistent. Lies, gossip, deception, and ignorance are par for the course around here when it comes to management. On top of that the managers walk around like they are better than everyone else. Anyone can be smart and knowledgeable not anyone can manage.
Middle Management- for the most part middle management is all new. This was supposed to me make things better but it’s far from the truth. They replaced middle managers who were great with people but were not the smartest and couldn’t manage with brilliant people who are not good with people and still can’t manage.
Upper Management/Executives- mainly located in Atlanta and they run EVO from an ivory tower. When they are in town they do not interact with anyone. They walk by people and don’t even say good morning. Its ok they are so awkward most of us don’t even want to talk to you anyway. I recently found out a lot of the executive bonuses are based off net income. This explains why raises, new computers and many other expenses are never approved.
HR- I really don’t even know why the HR department exists at EVO. They literally do nothing for us. Even if you need help with a form it takes a week, if it even happens. Their main job is to be complaisant with management’s wrongdoings. Management resources is a more realistic name than human resources.
