Pros
Since you work without much leadership, you create sting bonds with co-workers. You also gain a lot of valuable experience working with this challenging population. You will be able to get you clinical hours as they provide supervision for free.
Cons
Eagleville is very disorganized. They are unable to adequately meet the needs of the population and much of that stress gets passed onto staff. Leadership is largely protected from the complaints of the residents, who are not adequately getting their needs met. While the frontline workers get stuck doing the best they can because they truly care. Unfortunately, they are mostly unable to do much and it contributes to burn out and HIGH turnover.
