Pros

Earlybird serves a wide variety of clients (both startups and established businesses) so working here is a great chance to see a lot of different projects from the inside. There is a lot of openness towards experimenting with new technologies, and management is very supportive of hobbies and side hustles (some team members even have their own startups on the side). The best benefit is probably the highly flexible work schedule -- most employees work from home at least one day each week.

Cons

There's a lot of autonomy, but that means you usually need to be somewhat self-directed, especially when working remotely. Some employees thrive in this type of hands-off environment, but it's not for everyone.

Pros

A completely comfortable and joyful work environment. Your work is valued and is driven by clear goals, values, and mission. Everyone in the company is talented and humble. I worked with many of the same people for a half decade and we were nearly always having fun. It was a very joyful place to work even when things were difficult and tight. I genuinely care for everyone at this company and I'm so glad I chose to spend time with these folks for such a long part of my career.

Cons

Sales were up and down at times.

Pros

Work life balance is wonderful. It's the kind of place where you need to get your work done, but everyone here is self motivated. There aren't any managers over your shoulder constantly asking you for more work to be done. Projects are organized very reasonably and the work gets done in an efficient manner. Our past projects were did not always have the most thought out UX, but we have grown incredibly and now I can say that it's become a real strength of our company.

Cons

A bit more focused on web application development than iOS/Android mobile development. We're certainly getting a lot of interest in this area though, so I'm sure we'll need to continue our growth and development.
