Pros
Colleagues, Reps, Management were all willing to help if you ask respectfully. Independent work schedule if you are good with time management and a bit of a road warrior. Travel was never more than 1-1.5 hours from your office. Can be lucrative as a top performer in sales making six-figures.
Cons
No dedicated onsite assistance with training and installs for new sales reps.
HOWEVER, take the time to ask internal IT that remotes in during an install and learn. Take down notes. If you have the ability to learn technical things, you will be a top performer, if you give it time. You will be comfortable and confident in front of any customer.
Depending on which office you are in, the level of tenure and willingness to help someone new vary.
