Cons

Eaton India Engineering Center, Kharadi, Pune ....It was a good company to work, but culture has changed a lot in last 2-3 years. Its now like a sinking ship... Thanks to leadership of Eaton India Engineering Centre, Pune... Third class people in leadership and their politics... 1. Growth: You will not get growth unless you say "YES" to everything that Managers asked you... Apex calibration meetings is forum leader ship used to retaliate employees to satisfy their Ego... Performance rating of employee is depend on the feedback given by the people around them not their performance.. 2. Leadership: Leadership focus on show off only... Not interested in growth of Company or employees except their own growth... Middle level management are puppet of leadership... All managers are the PPT managers and technically Incompetent except few individuals... EIEC leadership is smart enough to manipulating numbers, they have done PhD on how to show data green always... Total time what spent in making fancy PPTs and so called project reviewsin EIEC Pune location, if spent NPI projects, Eaton could have in much better position in market today 3. Ethics: Local leadership talks lot ablout ethics but only in All Hands Meetings but in practice do not follow ethics. 4. Values : Diversity they talk about only Gender diversity. Special rules for female emplyees whether its a hiring process or performance/promotion or ethics violation. Its like a government company for female employees. Execpt few female employess who are really career oriented, rest are getting paid for achieving EIEC diversity target of 25%. 5. Innovation: Local leadership talk lot about the Innovation, but true fact is that there is no single product to show as a innovation in last 12 yrs. Now they have started so call Innovation Center at Magarpatta Pune with lot of investment.

Pros

whelp, their hiring. So if you're looking for an entry level position, they've got them open

Cons

Where do I start? If your goal is to make a tangible impact, change things for the better, or grow a modern career, look elsewhere. Stifling Red Tape: The company is drowning in administrative bloat and ancient, worn-out processes. It is nearly impossible to implement meaningful improvements because every minor change is strangled by bureaucracy. The organization simply lacks the capability to scale effectively. (They still haven't fully implemented Bussman, who they acquired more than a decade ago) Short-Sighted Leadership: Upper management is entirely hyper-focused on hitting short-term quarterly metrics at all costs, completely sacrificing long-term strategy and sustainable operational health. Subpar Compensation & Benefits: The base salary is hardly competitive with the current market. The benefits package is remarkably weak—health insurance options are disappointing, and you start with a meager two weeks of vacation. Zero Performance Incentive: There is no financial upside for regular engineers. Bonus potential is completely locked away until you reach a "manager of managers" level, leaving the actual individual contributors with no skin in the game. If you are a paper-pusher who thrives in a rigid, stagnant environment, you will love it here. If you want to build the future, go somewhere else.
