Pros

Strong AI/ML recognition technologies that are quite focused and applicable at extracting useful information from high resolution aerial/satellite data

Cons

1. Has a significant issue with licensing/costing policies which severly curtail sales efforts or attempts to build market share. 2. Competition is starting to come out with products making the market noisey. 3. Micro-managing from top combined with unrealistic price/license requirements inhibits sales negotiations for off the shelf product. 4. Needs to determine whether they are a service company or a product sales company. The two sides compete and often operate under conflicting license/pricing approaches. 5. Leadership wants to own large segments of the market which they are not even closely prepared to claim thus inhibiting potentially lucrative partnerships and revenue generation.

Pros

Everyone in the company has a strong role and voice with what goes on. Coming from a large company with thousands of people to a small team can seem daunting at first and then you realize you have a bunch of freedom as long as it will yield results.

Cons

We do a lot with a small but growing staff. Therefore, we're creating patterns to support onboarding new hires. For leadership, more delegating will be needed in the future.
