-Unhealthy work environment
-Management lures you in by promising good time off, perks, ability to contribute to the growing company. The once you're in there, they work you like slaves and don't take any criticism/feedback.
-Lying and dis-trust from management
-massive firings without warning or communication about why
-They put "yes people" in management positions because anyone that speaks their mind gets fired or ignored. Any issues big and small are not taken seriously.
-Mental health is not taken seriously, they expect people to work through the pain because "that's just how start-ups are"
-no training, everyone is expected to teach themselves the job quickly with no leadership or guidance.
-then when people are fired, you are expected to pick up their work, again with no training or warning, You just have to do it and hope you do a good job. And if you don't there are no guidelines in place on how to handle the issue.
-Oh, and there is never any pay raises when you take on new duties. You're just expected to do it and not complain. Even though you are already SLAMMED by your other job responsibilities.
-No organization of the product/ people's jobs and responsibilities. Everyone is just guessing and hoping it all works out, and it often doesn't
-Management personally wrote reviews on Yelp and Glassdoor because they are having a hard time finding happy employees and clients.
-rude and abrasive San Fransisco staff that had no respect for the Austin team. Treated them terribly when we finally got to all meet. And on a daily basis, expected the ATX team to work at all hours of the day and to be available. Pawned all of their tasks on ATX
