Pros

I have been with the firm for over 7 years. I have a full time firm paid Branch Office Administror that supports me and my clients. I have my own firm paid branch office in my community. Our tools and technology have continuously improved since I started and provides my clients comfort and clarity .Industry Advisors that have recently joined our firm state that our technology is second to none. The company is very client centric . All tenured advisors should seriously consider Edward Jones, and look at our new compensation model. There is also custom compensation for advisors that will be bringing specific assets in. All of this is treated with the utmost confidence. If you desire a work/life balance , a company that supports women , inclusion and diversity this is the firm to go to.

Cons

Be prepared to work like no one else for the first several years. There's an established process that works, so be prepared to come way out of your comfort zone and introduce yourself to your community that you plan to open your office in. You need to also be able to manage your time, and be very organized. If you are lacking any one of these things, this is not the place for you!. If you have the drive to do all these things, Edward Jones is the best place for you and your family!

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
