I wanted to love it here, but I don't - Associate Edward Jones Employee Review

The culture at Edward Jones has a bias toward the grind. Don't expect to have anything that resembles work-file balance here. No one cares about what's going on in your personal life; there will be no consideration given for anything that doesn't fit within your leader's defined box of acceptable. The change management here is an absolute joke - it doesn't exist. Lots of blind leading the blind and turning their nose up when those with external experience try to show them how to get it done effectively. In many instances, even your own leaders won't know how to do the things they hold you accountable to do and there are very few resources here to teach people anything. The bias towards action here is borderline toxic. You move so quickly with so little information because you'd rather make a move than make the right move. This results in unnecessary re-work for the people actually making things happen. Meeting expectations here is equal to significantly exceeding expectations are most any other organization I've ever worked at.
