Pros
Although very competitive, they're in a space with a big market opportunity. The product has improved over time after years of work on fixing foundational issues that were introduced in the very early stages of development.
Cons
All the issues in the company point toward upper management. Other than the 4 co-founders and the few who're in the inner circle, management does not have any real power nor decision-making abilities. This results in employees either bearing the brunt of the politics or taking advantage of it and marginalizing middle-management even more. The high turnover at the middle and upper management layers speaks to the terrible management culture that emanates from the CEO. This percolates down to employees as well. The company has lost many good employees as a result. The CEO is widely known to be a control freak. He cannot retain competent execs and leaders who're also not willing to stroke his ego. It is not uncommon for employees and management staff to resign on the spot after a heated argument with him. He has no hesitation in shamelessly peddling false and libelous statements about current and former employees, including his own co-founders. The spate of positive reviews on Glassdoor is deceptive. The company has leaned on employees to not only write positive reviews, but also to write multiple positive reviews each. No doubt some of these positive reviews are real and sincere, but most are not believable. I would recommend that people take these positive reviews with a pinch of salt.
