1. There is no real feedback loop with management. I've given consistent feedback to my manager and I'm usually met with a very defensive response, or excuses, or they are just overall condescending. I think both middle and upper management (at least on the West) should be more available to their reps. Have an AMA session with sales leaders where people can submit anonymous questions, offer a real feedback loop, and instead of exclusively looking at reps who are not hitting, look at their managers. 2. Figure out pricing. Unacceptable that for certain customers who want pricing such as egnyte's secure enclave or regulated pricing we need to wait to discuss pricing internally once a week. Makes for a collaborative story sometimes but most times just makes us look like we've never done this before. 3. Theres more of a focus to CYA than there are to produce. There is no reason we should be in 4-6 hours of internal meetings a week. Having been in the software space for many years at various companies, Egnyte's sales leaders and sales processes have proven to be inefficient and ineffective. 4. ZERO development. From SDR through AE. I know there is a new enablement coach but that decision is about a year too late. They've walked into a dumpster fire. Instead of developing your current reps, you add in more internal meetings and outsource your new hires who also walk into a dumpster fire. Sinking ship.
