Pros

* Pay was okay for my position, but someone else doing my exact same job made $10K/yr more (even though I have a college degree and the other person didn't, roughly the same years of experience). Because its owned by US Bank who does business in CA, the entire company nationwide now has a $15/hr min. May not be much in other areas, but for Knox that's not bad. *Flexibility for appointments and WFH (again, position dependent) *Short commute *A wide range of benefits, including health/dental/vision/401K match/pension -- they are owned by US Bank, so benefits are a perk.) *Casual dress code (jeans, office-appropriate shirt) *onsite food trucks almost daily

Cons

*FAVORITISM. This is, in my opinion, the biggest con for the company. If you are liked, you can probably move up. If not, you're not going anywhere, regardless of education, experience and other qualifications. It's all about the job title and who you know. They often make a hiring decision the minute the req is created, before even posting the position. But they still let you waste your unpaid time away from work to go through multiple rounds of interviews. *Insurance is expensive for what it is. *You get pigeonholed into your role and often cannot progress your career to move up. *Raises are rarely more than the standard 2-3% cost of living raise every year *Bonuses for most of us exist, but have been MIA or far reduced the last few years. Execs are still getting $50-150K annual bonuses though. *An employee was not only sleeping with her boss, but had been since before getting the job that he/she wasn't qualified for and didn't actually do. The relationship was exposed in the workplace, with photo and video evidence. The manager was allowed to quit in lieu of term, and the employee still has a job. Not only that, the individual was promoted. Why? Because an immediate family member is a member of upper management. *Once they decide they don't like you, they make a concerted effort to ensure you are regularly scapegoated, in hopes that you will leave on your own.

Pros

Strong environment for professional development and career growth. The organization provides ample opportunities to climb the ladder if you are proactive. I also believe the recent shift in leadership direction is a promising move toward the right future for the company.

Cons

The organization struggles with significant corporate bureaucracy and a siloed working environment, which leads to redundant projects and inefficient capital allocation. While the company pushes a 'total compensation' narrative, the liquid cash compensation and benefits packages—particularly health insurance flexibility—do not currently align with market standards. The lack of a cohesive product strategy remains a primary friction point for leadership.
