Pros
Stable; interesting work if you fight for it; great place to work if you don't have to do work; great work/life balance and life always takes precedence; ability to learn from some of the remaining experts
Cons
1 - Constant fight to do interesting work 2 - Unqualified mangers make technical decisions and decide alone on project specifications without involving their staff 3 - No feedback mechanisms to managers, only to workers 4 - Apparently the CEO wants innovation but the company culture and structure does not allow it 5 - No career planning 6 - Nearly impossible to hold on to work you've created before it gets taken from you and then badly implemented
