Pros

Literally zero. I guess the "ambiance" is nice.

Cons

I was hired and told that I would be able to become a server fairly fast due to my extensive experience in fine dining. When I got there they told me I was going to be hosting for them instead making $3.00 an hour plus tip out. I was shocked. The "managers" are simply just other servers that take all of the tables for themselves so they make all of the money. Every person I talked to there was either a server assistant, food runner, host and all said they have been trying to become servers for months. I was never paid for my two shifts that I did do. No check there when I called about it and never received a check in the mail.

Pros

Decent pay, the restaurants were pretty popular and were typically busy, so I usually got a lot of tips while working. Coworkers were great and super easy to work with and lots of diversity.

Cons

Favoritism in schedule. Management from office was also really weird and super sketchy, like we never actually know who's working there and they're erratic with the schedules. I've also heard crazy stuff from coworkers too regarding management. Never seen the owner myself but have experienced how crazy new rules and policies happen. Employee discounts were taken away, percentages in tipouts changed all the time, and we always had high turnover. I started at 3.50/hr + tipout when I became a server assistant then 2.13/hr + tips as a server. I felt sorry for how poorly paid SAs were. Nobody was ever clear on how stuff was done, so I was mainly learning from the senior staff. This was one of my first jobs as a college student, so I guess I didn't really realize how bad things were at the time. Now after working at several other restaurants that I can see the vast difference in management and how things are done professionally. This company does not have the professionalism and I'm so glad to have gone through them because I wouldn't have known abuse and craziness. No benefits either. I'd never go back.
