Pros

Consistent hours, start/end times, 8-10 hour shifts with plenty of overtime. Good lads in the shop who have a lot to teach if you ask nicely and help them when they need it.

Cons

Overtime isn't optional. You'll sign a contract for 8 hours but will get threatened into staying longer. Upper management will stress that you are expendable. Workshop managers are good folk but have no power over the guys in the office. Beware the occasional toxic, broken-down coworker.

Pros

-Decent benefits -Good group of coworkers overall -Little Caesar's pizza once a year if you're lucky

Cons

-Pay is abysmal -The management is extremely abrasive. They lie, talk down to everyone, and honestly don't do much of anything productive. They foster a fear-based work environment where employees are scared to even seek their help or input due to every request being met with blind anger and gaslighting. Nine times out of ten, they just seem outraged that someone would expect them to actually do his job rather than come in late, leave early, and loiter all day. -The management is like a circus. Always trying to pretend this is one big happy family when it is convenient but when it actually matters, they are nowhere to be seen. -Get ready for a revolving door of employees. Management pays horribly and treats employees horribly so people come and go frequently once they realize what it is like here. -The HR is an absolute mess.It fails to maintain a positive work environment and only serves to defend the toxic management.
