Dual reporting system (operational / functional) leads to unnecessary friction and problems. In most cases both managers don't agree which then becomes a huge challenge to the employee, this usually results in a lot of stress, delays, inconsistency and frustration. When I left the company, I was harassed y HR to cancel my employment visa even before finding a new job. My medical insurance was cancelled immediately even though the payment was done and there was no financial gain from cancelling my insurance. After setting up an entire department, hiring people and got the tasks rolling, Electrolux decided that my role was no longer required. They decided to fire me after less than 17 months and my responsibilities were shared by my subordinates. I felt angry, deceived and cheated. I don't recommend working for Electrolux to anyone. They take advantage of you as a hard-working employee and don't show any sympathy to your situation.
