Pros

Very positive work environment. Tons of growth opportunities. Highest pay I've seen at any shops in or around tulsa. You never get sent home if it's slow, and it's very rare that it's slow anyway. Weekly continuing education classes. Set schedules! Tons of opportunity for bonuses, and lots of contests. Great clients and coworkers.

Cons

There really arent any downsides unless you're just not a good fit with the company. You must be a happy, positive person, and you must have time management skills. Pay is awesome, but benefits would be nice

Working at Elephant in the Room is honestly one of the best job experiences I’ve had. The environment is extremely high energy and very positive. Everyone is super friendly and motiovated. It never feels like a boring job, and just a great place to be. Whether you’re applying to be a stylist or a management role, Elephant in the Room is great.

Cons

Pros

Working here has been a rewarding experience. The culture is dynamic, and fast-paced — every day brings a new challenge and an opportunity to grow. What makes it stand out is gaining exposure to real business concepts and entrepreneurship mindset. The team works hard and stays focused. Beyond just marketing skills, I’ve learned how to think more like an entrepreneur, understand customer needs, and how business decisions drive overall growth. This environment doesn’t just prepare you for a job in marketing; it equips you with the mindset and tools to build and scale a business. If you’re looking to develop both your creative and strategic thinking skills in a growth-oriented setting, this is the good place to be.

Cons

Because the team is very driven, Performance standards are high. It can feel demanding for newcomers who are still adjusting to the pace and workload.
