Pros

I don’t work on the weekends.

Cons

HR associate Relations works for the company. I have filed 3 complaints for the same racism, discrimination, bias against me. ALL have been ignored. On paper i am a stellar employee. In person most days i feel depressed defeated attacked unheard and targeted. I decided to get away from my current leadership by applying to other departments. I am have the experience, education and have met all benchmarks in my role. Elevance has not protected me or stood by me in my constant request for help & protection from retaliation from my current leadership. This lady has gone so far as to try and interfere with allowing me to leave my current team. How is it that Elevance allows the same offender to perpetuate the same behaviors without recourse? Why do i have to fear not being able to pay for the roof over my head if i continue to speak up about the discrimination i am experiencing? Elevance says that they are for Diversity and Inclusion. I am alone in my department and white counterparts make sure to remind me. All the way up the leadership pole are Europeans. None of them care or will address what’s happening. It will be cheaper to get rid of me and carry on as normal. We are still fighting for equality and equity in the workplace and Elevance does not care.

Pros

Great place to work depending on dept, IT was amazing, however given the current office and stance on reducing health funding has limited opportunities for growth.

Cons

Not one, it was a great place to work!

Pros

Competitive pay compared to many similar positions in healthcare and care management. Relatively flexible schedule, which can help support work-life balance. Excellent employee benefits package. Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a large organization. Strong potential to build valuable experience in care management and healthcare coordination

Cons

Training and onboarding are insufficient, making it difficult to feel fully prepared for the role. Although the company frequently emphasizes that family is a priority, that philosophy applies more to members and clients than to employees and their families. Lack of investment in developing and properly training managers and leaders. Employee retention seems to be an ongoing challenge. The workplace culture does not consistently reflect the values that were communicated by the organization.
