Pros

Healthcare benefits Some colleagues Nice HQ

Cons

Hands down the most toxic work environment I've ever had the displeasure to be apart of. Myself along with close to 40 other sales reps, some of whom have over 10 years real world sales experience from very reputable firms were hired over the summer. Once finally starting the role we were told that there would be a 3 month "training" period where certain, and rather ambiguous metrics would be tracked as part of our evaluation. Obviously that set off alarm bells from people who have been around as to what would happen if we didn't meet all of the ever changing metrics that were in place. No clear answer was ever given. Fast forward 3 months later and they promptly let go of nearly half of the new hire class for "failure to meet performance metrics" which they couldn't even track themselves. Many of those whom they kept didn't even come close to meeting the alleged metrics or had conveniently taken two week vacations. How does that make sense? When pressed they had no real answer, but clearly knew the entire time what they were doing. The entire sales org is mostly made up of non-sales/ex-consultants who are able to tap into their network and essentially box anyone out of pursuing an account/contact should they decide to do so. The "subject matter experts" that they have are barely that; mostly just ex auditors who now think they a thought leader, but mostly they just have a fancy title and think because they wear backwards hats they're different from all the rest - they're not. On the surface the culture appears attractive, but really it's just a facade. The owner/founder - who it appears is trying to attract PE dollars - would rather talk (sometimes in very unprofessional settings) about how different and great they are than actually do what it takes to make that happen. They think because they allegedly care more than other consulting firms, and can send thoughtful gifts that it makes them better. If I was a prospective or current client and knew how they treated people internally I'd have nothing to do with them.
