Pros

Frontline colleagues work very hard, under difficult circumstances to provide a wonderful service and fulfill the mission of the company.

Cons

All employees are micromanaged. Poor benefits including no annual salary increase. High demands on staff based on senior leadership extreme mood swings not necessarily based on customer needs. At one point termed all staff and rehired a few days later. Decreased PTO time greatly impacting colleagues with longer tenure.

Pros

EmergingMed has a valuable company mission and is making a positive impact in the lives of the patients, families, and physicians that it serves. The work has always left me feeling fulfilled and rewarded, knowing that I am making a positive impact for people during the toughest times of their lives. I have really enjoyed the small office environment. You get to know your colleagues, and the office attitude is positive, relaxed, and drama free. The openness of the office allows me to listen and learn from those around me and it provides easy access to my colleagues if I need to bounce ideas off of them or if I have questions. I have always found management to be easily accessible and open to my ideas and suggestions. Even if certain changes aren't immediately feasible, I have always felt "heard". I've found EmergingMed to provide a positive work/life balance. I am not expected to work more than 40 hours per week, and my superiors have always been very flexible with my scheduling requests (doctor's appointments, PTO, etc.)

Cons

Procedures and priorities do change based on volume, need, requests from partners, etc. so the Clinical Trial Navigator role is best for someone who can be flexible and make adjustments when necessary. Software tools also get "upgraded" and changed as the company grows, so again, the role is best for someone who can adapt to change and adjust along with it.
