Healthcare employees are worked very hard You can't quit one Emory job and get another job at Emory Definite hierarchy (MD at top, obviously) Good workers get taken advantage of Few perks Little middle management Strange management system in some departments (people have multiple bosses and it confuses things ) Poor hiring and onboarding process for University University and Healthcare side of Emory are kept far too separate Little appreciation for administration Stressful environment Poor patient scheduling People in power will get what they want - no checks and balances Traffic in area / parking / congestion You can make more money for your job elsewhere Will not respect your vacation time
