Pros

Product is needed by customers.

Cons

Low pay, very shady 'bonus' pay structure that management could neither explain nor understand. Lack of tools and ability to channel talent and/or experienced sales reps. Sales reps are not allowed to take orders, fix problems or anything to 'manage' accounts, or even adjust pricing. Zero Communication; Management was consistently evasive with answers, knowledge and lacked ability to solve problems or understand a professional modern Sales industry. Software was very old and lacked any sophistication and often posted inaccurate sales numbers and often glitched while reps were in the field. Bonus pay was a farce, and dependent on district budget numbers which were decided by, of course, the same management department that would pay said 'Bonus' (After cracking the code to their structure, I spent an hour explaining it to my immediate manager/boss who could not understand it himself. )
