The cons are a laundry list of bad decisions by upper management and when their silver bullets turn out to be blanks, they make “business cuts” aka layoffs to justify their poor decisions. The company is named Emplifi (empathy amplified) and is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Whoever came up with this stupid naming convention doesn’t understand the meaning of empathy. The company is more callous than empathic. The CRO is so out of touch and loves to hear himself speak. Since the new leadership regime, numbers have tanked and the competitors have only won more market share. They’re having their best years in a challenging economic market & Emplif is barely hanging on. Whose fault is this? The finger should be pointed at the new leadership who somehow never gets blamed for the company tanking. Instead, multiple hardworking people get laid off for following the instructions from said “leadership”. They’re figuring out as they go and it’s not working. Marketing is trash and makes zero impact on generating interest. Sales is expected to not only do marketing’s job but also hit completely unrealistic targets. Turnover has been an all time high and morale at an all time low. Lastly, growth - completely forget it. There is none. And compensation - again, forget it. You might get a high salary if you can sell yourself in the beginning but forget about ever getting a raise. If you’re looking for a new company, keep looking unless you love bad management, unrealistic sales targets, gaslighting, no growth, no raises, & an unstable work environment.
