Pros

Decent pay... That's about it

Cons

Where to begin.... Management doesn't have any real plans or strategy for growth. They have a goal, but don't set up their sales team for success. Literally just give them a list of a few companies and tell them to get to dialing. Training (if that's what you want to call it) was terrible. Zero resources Marketing doesn't put out anything that gets the name out there.

ESS is committed providing resources available to all our employees and are always open to ideas for improvement. We’ve been successful developing employees who may be new to sales or to our industry. In fact, more than half of the senior sales team at ESS started with little or no sales experience and have grown with the company achieving both professional and personal growth. Recent new hires are following the same path, with more than 75% of new sales reps achieving solid growth and meeting growth expectations.

Pros

Coworkers were helpful and genuinely tried to help.

Cons

I don't think I have room to list them all. The communication was terrible, none of the employees were held accountable for poor service, they laughed off mistakes like they were no big deal. Management admitted that people got promoted or hired for positions in which they were the wrong fit. The CEO could only talk about everyone's faults and never acknowledged strengths or accomplishments. She claimed she wanted an assistant to stand up to her and be firm with her, but when you tried, she would only get defensive. She could list 100 things that are areas of improvement in the company but instead of being in the office to fix these problems, it was more important to spend time at the beach house, lake house, at conferences, getting her hair and nails done, Christmas shopping, etc. She expected her Executive Assistant to get to know all of management and fix all the problems.
