Pros

At home job. It used to be weekends off by they just added Saturdays so that’s no longer good. No others pros.

Cons

Company doesn’t care about their employees all the managers take all the time off in the world but for the guys who basically carry the company it’s almost impossible to get days off. Even for months ahead they have what’s called black out dates meaning they “think” it’s going to be busy which sometimes their literally dead. Pay is minimum for all the tasks and stuff you do over the phone. Your basically a sitting robot back to back calls non stop

Thank you for your feedback. We recognize the importance of time off to rest and recharge and encourage associates to utilize time off available to them. We provide a very competitive rate for call center roles and encourage career growth for associates. We transfer 5 – 10 associates out of the call center to other roles internally every month.

Pros

Many smart people genuinely want to grow & succeed; An excellent long term strategic vision backed by long term oriented investors; Ample growth opportunities at a business that is very well positioned for long term growth. Leaders that genuinely care about their people. Remote work is truly an advantage - just the lack of a commute makes a large difference. Opportunity to be at the ground level of a company that will develop a much stronger national brand over the next decade.

Cons

Delivery & Execution are areas that are truly challenging in the high growth/evolutionary environment that Empower is in today. Cultural changes are happening within the business that create some competing priorities, though Sr. Leaders continue to lead through this. Working with people across the US means don't expect a normal schedule - early / late starts and working lunches are the norm.
