Pros
Good 401k and Ok benefits( if they even let you use them). If you get lucky you can get normal working hours after you worked there for 6 months. Average PTO. WFH. Once you get good after 8 months you can easily play video games and take calls.
Cons
Tons of mandatory Overtime because they cant keep a training class on the job longer then a week. Managers know this job sucks at time and agree with you but do nothing to make changes. You need to know your vacation schedule 3-5 months in advanced if you want to get the time off. I hope you dont have a death in the family because you get in trouble for missing work to attend the funeral. I guess i should tell my family to die when i have time off next time. Employer tracks your every minute to make sure you are on a call and you have average 60-100 calls a day. Very stressful to make sure you meet all the metrics set and deal with angry participants because the processes set in place try to make people go through as many hoops as possible and people get fed up with it. They promise all these career opportunities but force you stay in the call center for at least 2 years so you wont make it to another position because nobody wants to stay in the call center. I had a hiring class of 30. 12 made it through training and i was the last one left to still work there after 1 year and 7 months.
