Pros
Enable Energy is a high-energy kind of company. People are moving quickly and, it seems, with purpose. As a result, each day seems to go by so quickly. One aspect that I really enjoy, though, is that the company and team recognize the fast pace and work to include team-togetherness and team-building time into each week. We seem to have a potluck or special event of some kind with regularity. There is laughter coming from all different directions any given day. Management and non-management clearly put a great deal of effort into building a team spirit.
I also really like that, especially as a solar newbie, management takes the time to not just train on my specific job, but to explain the industry, how solar works, long-term projections and the like. I really feel like the company wants me to build a career here, not just do my job.
We have fresh jalapeno popcorn almost every afternoon. This stuff is like crack and everyone rushes to get their bag. The company recently bought a much bigger machine. :)
