Pros
This is a good place to start if you're trying to break into the wedding videography field! The best part about working here is the creative freedom you get. You have the liberty to exercise your filmmaking skills the way you want, and create an end product couples will love. You can work as little or as much as you like, and contracts can be relatively steady.
Cons
Starting pay could be better! Be aware that the shadow shoots are not paid, either. They are upfront about this. Biggest gripe is that videographers and photographers aren't allowed to speak to clients directly until a week before the event. This leaves very little time for immensely important things like shotlisting. It would be beneficial to both parties if clients and vendors were able to go over the finer details before the week of the event.
