Encompass is run by insane people who lack basic compassion for their subordinates. They habitually create rules that make our lives increasingly more miserable. First we were moved to 12 hour shifts. No extra breaks. We have to rely on fellow (over-worked) employees to carve time out of their schedules so we can go take a wiz. At Encompass you will be smarter than your manager and it will be frustrating. That's just a fact. Supervisors are completely and totally incompetent save for 1. They will ask you how to fix issues, write things up incorrectly in an attempt to scapegoat you, and please count on them to be completely useless during an actual on-air crisis. Encompass is also slowly letting go of all of their managers. I think there's just one left as of this review.. They are incredibly sneaky and would rather build a case against you slowly than tell you things you need to do to improve. It's quite evil and I really feel for everyone who's recently been laid off/fired. (ie half of the staff). EDM Atl was recently made the HQ for all of Encompass North America, so we received about 10 new networks in the process. Naturally after receiving so much extra work, Encompass did what any logical company would do, cut the amount of workers. I know right? In conclusion the other reviews are spot on. Listen to them. Listen to us. This place is a black hole, and a sinking ship. Don't work here unless you're willing to be absolutely miserable for a pay check.
