Pros

Open and collaborative culture where people could speak their mind. No level of hierarchy and everyone was super approachable and always willing to help out. Management was listening to people's feedback and trying to action on it. Everyone was very transparent with what's happening in the company and the future of the company.

Cons

No open space in Oakland and if you didn't walk around you couldn't have the random interactions with your co-workers, but management was trying to address that before they closed down.

Pros

I worked almost 2 years here and it was a blast! The team was great, the work was always really fun, the studio was respectful of keeping normal work hours, and I thought the pay/benefits were pretty good. Keith and Michael who ran the company were also very accessible and accommodating to the staff, even when I needed certain equipment to get my work done, or if we needed time to get accustom to new software or tech. It was very refreshing to work in a studio with such open, friendly, communication across all levels. Our bosses also did a lot to keep our spirts high, by running events, buying lunch, or bringing in dollar store goodies for laughs. Lastly, the office was very welcoming and diverse. From different races, ethnicities, sexualities, etc, as a queer Latina, I felt very safe here! I genuinely enjoyed my time working at Endless.

Cons

The only real issue with this studio was that sometimes there was miscommunication or misunderstandings about roles/duties. My opinion may be a bit biased because I started at the studio when there were only about 5 or employees, so I've seen Endless go through it's growing pains. When I left the company, they had vastly improved on this issue, building a really strong network of checks and accountability so that things would move through our pipeline smoothly.
