A great place to work and learn about the clean energy field while being part of a team who truly wants to help others. While it is remote, team building activities would be planned once a month that helped everyone feel closer. We did stuff like escape rooms, trivia, chocolate tasting, walking challenge, etc. Mentorship is available from senior staff and your ideas will always be listened to.

Working remote and working on your own time may be a con for some, but good time management skills and a drive for success will help!

I liked EnergeiaWorks enough that when we had an opening I got my roommate a job here. This is the most open work environment I've ever had. We are expected to be open and honest (the handbook explicitly encourages us to discuss salary with each other). Feedback is direct and consistent, both positive and negative. It can be kind of jarring for the first week, but they really do want us to be successful and honest so being told you need to do something differently isn't calling you out, it's actually helping. The professional development is great, monthly training that's in-depth. Work/life balance is great, the entire company is remote and there are only two must-attend meetings (totaling 90 minutes) each week. Other than that there is no direction on when you have to do what work.

I struggle with the discipline it takes to be truly successful here. The bosses (William and Victoria) work with me on that and are helping me grow. No health insurance, but they say they are working on that. I'd like higher base salary, but if I had the right discipline then I wouldn't, you can make a lot of money here. The comp structure probably isn't a con in reality, I just want to be lazy and get paid for it.
