Pros
After joining, you quickly realize how disorganized the company is. I was hired for a role and within 5 months I had to change roles due to the business not being properly organized. The big pro here is that they gave me a substantial signing bonus when I joined. Within the first months I knew it was not an organization I wanted to stay with. So what did I do? I spent the next 6 months being paid while I searched for other jobs. So while the company and role was not a fit for me, I got paid to job search so actually this was a very big Pro for me.
Cons
The solution they offer is not fit for purpose outside of the power generation market. They pretend that it is, but it is not. So the market is limited for what they offer. There is very low moral within the teams, when I highlighted this to management my line manger actually told me and quote " we don't have time for pleasantry on internal calls due to it being a very high performance sales environment". I think this says everything about the company culture. There was a member of the team who did everything to create a toxic environment for others. Senior management were aware of this individual and would do nothing about it. I suggest that they send their senior managers back to school for some common sense management skills.
