Pros
Engage is a place where you are trusted, have room to grow, and can learn from industry leaders. When you first arrive at Engage, there is a two-week onboarding process to get you up to speed on processes, terminology, the team, who does what, etc. I've worked for several other firms in DC and have never had such an organized onboarding process. Everyone was helpful and I quickly found that the people who work at Engage are kind and want to see everyone succeed. Two of Engage's core values are leadership & innovation, and that is at the heart of the company culture. If you believe that there is a better way to do something, team leaders and the partners are pretty much always open to making that happen and supporting you along the way. Beyond that, I've found that leadership recognizes those who are committed to self-growth and own everything they touch. It's an environment where you can grow exponentially. One of the most unique aspects of working at Engage is that my colleagues are incredibly supportive of one another. The team is willing to teach and lend their expertise to other team members on projects that are not their own. If someone needs an extra set of hands on their project, there is always someone who is willing to help. In addition, I've always felt comfortable calling my bosses to ask for help or their advice.
Cons
We're primarily working from home and I miss being with the office with the full team and unlimited supply of coffee and sparkling water.
