An excellent example of a company shrouded in red tape

1. This company now handles payroll for the University of Melbourne. I gave up trying to be paid for a job I did 6 months ago for U of M and have written them off as a bad debtor. 2. They sought all sorts of personal data from me to which they have no right and which I refused t give because I had no guarantee that it will not be sold on to scammers. They have had my tax invoice, ABN and banking details which the ATO informs me is all they need and ate entitled to get. 3. The fee for the service I completed 6 months ago is being withheld until I give them these data. Is this blackmail? They know, and I know ,that the amount involved would not warrant my employing a lawyer to recover my agreed fee ,so I have no option but to write off a bad debt 4. They do not reply to emails and are reluctant to talk over the phone to resolve the matter. 5. The University of Melbourne has made a big mistake engaging an external payroll company like this whch is sullying its reputation
