Pros
Employee snacks and great in-studio coworkers.
Cons
-low pay, especially for artists. the co-founder josh is VEHEMENTLY against allowing artists to accept tips, which is a bad look lol. -might be a start up but the way they change policies and programs so often is fing ridiculous and detrimental to day to day operations, but go off -AWFUL management. had one good manager but then they started hiring people who have NO IDEA about tattoo culture or how to be a good leader -they only give you corporate "non answers" - no one ever knows who to contact about any question you have lol. email templates are messy and formatted terribly. seriously, maybe hire someone to proof read and format things for you. -hq has no idea how the studios actually run but want to make all the decisions, ask for employees' input, only to not actually consider it at all -VERY cliquey... also mgmt talks down to employees and berates them (causing one cx to walk out), gossips and creates tension between colleagues. there is NO expectation of privacy or confidentiality in this company. you will be name dropped. trust no one. -they are more concerned with opening a thousand more locations instead of working on and perfecting the existing ones -disagreement with management results in retaliation and blaming the staff for not doing their job. -high turnover (guess why) -they want us to collect insane amounts of data for their less-than-perfect ink formula, but aren't paying us as data collectors or researchers lmao. the data is also wildly inaccurate and impossible to keep track of. -don't even get me started on their damage control reddit page there are literally so many more cons to list, but i can't put everything into cohesive sentences. i thought ephemeral was a cool concept but the people running this company have no idea what they're doing and are happy to continue losing good staff to keep up the status quo. would not recommend.
